Whether it is the morning after or a day where a pick-me-up is more than necessary, I like to allow myself a little peaceful ritual in the morning for a better day ahead.
– Waking up 15 minutes earlier than usual to have time for myself – maybe 15 minutes of meditation, or just some positive thinking and planning for the day ahead.
– Putting on some eye patches – now these are my princess products also known as I don’t really need them, but I love applying them when necessary.
– Using a fancier shower gel instead of my normal soap-less body and face cleanser. Now this is also a treat. Just a nice added touch for a better day.
– Some nice and nutritious breakfast, and maybe a cheeky coffee. Coffee is not the best drink, as many studies pointed out that caffeine is harmful for the body, but I just cannot do without it on a regular morning. I try to have two days off caffeine a week though, to balance it out.
