This month I’ve really been into trying new products and spicing up my makeup routine.
The last few article here were make-up related and I apologize if you prefer my travel or cooking articles (I plan on traveling a lot more in November and December and maybe cook a few more dish but really that Bibimbap recipe is delish !!!!! )
The end of the year is always the time I purchase more make-up, the Christmas collections comes out and as I told you this in article about being smart about beauty purchases, I wait for bundles to get more for my bucks. Well, I presented the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit palette in a previous article, and I have been loving it so far. The powders are so awesome – My favorite is Dim light (Upper Left hand Corner) as a setting powder and Mood Exposure (Bottom Left hand Corner) as a blush. These are perfect for natural make-up days.
Remember when I wrote that I loved Matte shadow so much for the day time and shimmers were useless. I’ve been using the darker shimmery color of the Chanel Christmas Edition Entrelacs palette so much – that’s ridiculous how pretty is shade is – more beige than Mac All that Glitters and more Sheer than Urban Decay Sin. This shade alone made the purchase of that palette worse it. I really I didn’t planned on picking this one up as I have clearly enough eye shadows until the end of my life. And, no that statement is not an exaggeration. Nars Valhalla eyeshadow is a very close dupe if you cannot get your hands on the palette.
For my face I’ve been using nonstop the Burberry kit I got last month. The Earthy Blonzer is a perfect bronzer for winter as it not orange at all. Love it to give a bit of definition without overdoing it. And Burberry Fresh Glow in Nude Radiance is gorgeous for giving a little bit of light to your skin either before foundation – which I don’t use – or just on top of the cheek bones as I prefer.
And Last but not least, I have been using Nars Dolce Vita Velvet Lip Pencil as A cream blusher like there’s no tomorrow. I really love this stuff for both lips and cheeks.
This article is not a monthly favorite as I clearly don’t change up my make-up that often. And my wallet is very glad about that fact. Knowing that I always have fun trying new things.
Have you tried new make-up product this month?
