Allow yourself a time frame for recovery: being blue for an evening maybe, for a couple of days not so much. Life is too short to be stuck in a period of sadness. It is not always predictable but force yourself to carry on your daily routine without drama.
Clean your (mind) environment having a tidy home/environment is essential to put some cleanliness in your mind. A dirty/ messy place is full of bad energy. Make your house your home, unclutter and take advantage of the good energy to cheer you up a little bit.
Pamper yourself: Your favorite clay mask might be the good way to go 🙂
Treat yourself to a little sweet something. May I add that black chocolate is a good source of serotonine which help cheering you up (2 squares are enough though).
Treat yourself to some me-time: a movie you love, a magazine with pretty pictures or interesting articles – whatever floats your boat (Currently re watching Buffy The Vampire Slayer as I Write – Season 7 my fave !)
find out what’s up with you and instead of focusing on the cause, focus on what you can to solve it or move on. Once again life is too short to waste it on something you cannot do nothing about.

Smile like you mean it, laugh like you mean it and act confident even if you do not feel like it: the rest will come naturally.
keep yourself busy ; try new things; meet some friends, keep up with the things you have to do on a daily basis. If one area of your life does not go so well, do not let the rest become worst.
Focus on your goals in life and plan accordingly: make it meaninful, understand what you want and how you can get it. Break it down into baby step to implement it in your daily routine. Each baby step is a step closer to your aim.
Be grateful no watter how much more lucious and green your neighbough’s garden appear to be in comparison to yours, you are lucky to be where you are, doing the things you do and being the way you are. It is so easy nowaday to focus on the things we don’t have and how you can improve and all. Just take a moment to appreciate that even if your life is though today, you are lucky to be alive and potientially healthy.
